Dr. Isabelle DeMatteis is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in New York City. She completed her undergraduate education at Columbia University and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from NYU College of Dentistry where she also completed an honors program in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology giving her extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologic conditions of the head and neck region. Dr. DeMatteis then continued her professional training at The Mount Sinai Hospital Center in Manhattan where she completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and served in the capacity of chief resident. She is certified in dental general anesthesia and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and offers IV anesthesia services for patients of various ages.
Dr. DeMatteis currently practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with a focus in dento-alveolar surgery including wisdom tooth extractions and exposure of impacted teeth, implant reconstruction with bone grafting techniques, sinus lifts, pre-prosthetic surgery and benign oral pathology. She is affiliated with The Mount Sinai Hospital Center in Manhattan as well as Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens where she serves as an attending in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. She currently practices in private practice in Brooklyn and Manhattan where she treats both children and adults.
